Thank you for your letter regarding the proposed expansion of Lydd Airport with regard to jobs and the Dungeness C Power Station.

Obviously any increase in jobs would beneficial to the area, which could come from both an expansion of the airfield and the development of a 'C' power station, especially as both of these have worked well alongside each other for many years.

As a young person I look forward to the long term future of any area which is dependent upon the flooding aspect for the area, jobs and the feasibility of any operation. If any or all of these can be proved then I would give my support to any scheme, giving informed advice to the electorate, but ultimately abiding by their decision- this is the promise I have given and by which I wish to stand.
