I can only refer to my Liberal Democrat statement which I am delivering to my
ward during the run up to the local council elections.
We are opposed to the expansion of Lydd Airport for a number of reasons including the
lack of infrastructure, pollution, noise, the only jobs will be menial tasks, impact on local
tourism, the close proximity of the power station and the RSPB sanctuary.
