Dover Western Docks 6th July 1992
German Environmental law states that it is illegal to export any substance
that may cause pollution in another country. Greenpeace Germany
attempt to return the radioactive mud to Germany claiming the radioactivity
originated from German spent nuclear fuel being reprocessed
at Sellafield, thus contravening German law.
The vehicle is refused entry into the docks
as it is classed as a hazardous cargo!!
