WANA NEWS - NEWYDDION CWNC
INDEX PAGE

The Welsh Anti Nuclear Alliance (WANA) was founded in 1980 as a non-party political alliance of organisations and individuals, in order to campaign against the expansion of nuclear power, the dumping of nuclear waste, and the proliferation of nuclear weapons, and to campaign for the conservation and rational use of energy.

In recent years, as nuclear power stations such as Trawsfynydd close, WANA has become increasingly involved in strategies for managing the legacy of the nuclear industry in a responsible and rational way.
